Palos Verdes High School won both the Boys and Girls StateChampionships for Division III. PV was the only school to sweep the boys and girls titles at Saturday morning’s State Finals, capping an incredible season for both of the school’s cross country teams.

The Palos Verdes girls team finished with 103 points, topping Vista del Lago (143), Aptos (147) and defending champion Campolindo.. The Palos Verdes Boys team , heavy favorites all season, scored 100 points to hold off St. John Bosco (112 points), Piner (161), Campolindo (162) and West Torrance (173).
