The total inventory of homes and townhomes/condos for sale on the Palos Verdes Peninsula has increased markedly the last few months to a total of 351 available for sale as of 4/1/09. The follwing is a comparison of homes for sale at the same comparable period since 2006:

The total number of homes and condos/townhomes for sale in January of this year was only 281. This large increase in inventory should continue to make this a strong buyers market due to the increase in competition. The increase in homes available for sale was particularly large in the range of $1.5 million to $2.5 million. Interestingly, the number of condos and townhomes for sale has actually decreased substantially.
