READY, SET, GO! Gather your family and friends and get your little pumpkins to the 21st Annual World Famous Pumpkin Race Festival. Enjoy the spectacle of the Manhattan Beach Pier area transformed into Pumpkinrace Land, where creativity runs wild and cheaters never prosper. Dress in colorful costumes, enjoy fun activities for all ages, make your own Pumpkin Racecar and feel the thrill of competing in the fun-spirited World Famous Pumpkin Race. Free and fun for the whole family thanks to the generosity of our sponsors and volunteers.

WHAT’S THE WORLD FAMOUS PUMPKIN RACE? – Handcrafted Pumpkin Racecars racing side-by-side in unpredictable and dramatic style! Families and friends race for fun and the coveted Championship Trophy. JOIN THE RACE – It’s fun! It’s easy! It’s free to enter! Compete in single elimination Open Qualifying from 1:00pm-4:00pm for your chance to race in the Championship Finals beginning at 4:00pm. Award ceremonies and sunset concert right after the finals!

NEED A PUMPKIN RACECAR? World Famous Pumpkin Racecar Kits will be available for purchase beginning October 15th at Grow Produce in Manhattan Beach and at the festival while supplies last! Pumpkin Racecar Kits are fun and easy to assemble and contain everything you needed to build a Pumpkin Racecar, including a medium-sized pumpkin. Free expert assistance, decorations, and accessories are available at the event for those purchasing official kits. You may also may make you own Pumpkin Racecar according to the Official Rules of the World Famous Pumpkin Race.
