The average number of properties listed for sale for the overall Palos Verdes Peninsula during the last 3 months is approx. 36% lower than the comparable period last year. Single Family home sales for the overall Palos Verdes Peninsula Real Estate Market have improved and the average number of homes sold per month of 58 over the last 3 months is about 2% higher than the comparable period last year . Sales per month over the previous 5 months had continued to increase, however decreased to 47 sales in July 2012. [...]

My European cruise
My husband Bruce and I just got back from a wonderful eastern Mediterranean cruise which took us to Kotor Montenegro, Athens, Istanbul, Ephesus Turkey, Santorini, and Split Croatia. It was a fantastic trip and we saw some unbelievable sites !!! The cruise was on Holland America. Survey of Economists See End in Sight for Housing Downturn
Zillow announced the results of the December 2011 Zillow Home Price Expectations Survey. Each quarter, an expert panel of more than 100 leading economists shares its views regarding expectations for future home prices in the United States. FHA Loan Limits Still at $729,750
Many people know that the limit for loans purchased by Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac was recently reduced from the limit of $729,750 in high cost areas down to the former limit of $ 625,500 , however many missed the fact that Congress recently passed legislation maintaining the higher loan limits for FHA mortgages. In late November, Congress reinstated the loan limit formula and maximum cap for Federal Housing Administration-insured loans for two years.
