Two incumbents were re-elected to second terms on the Rancho Palos Verdes City Council in Tuesday €™s balloting.

With all 16 precincts reporting, Councilman Anthony Misetich emerged as the top vote-getter at 35.8 percent. Councilman Brian Campbell was close behind in second place at 34.5 percent.

Former Councilman Ken Dyda, who was seeking to return to elective city office and ran his campaign without taking contributions, trailed with 30.0 percent.

Misetich and Campbell were elected in 2009 and were seeking second four-year terms. Due to term limits, these will be their last terms.

Dyda, 82, was a founding member of the City Council, serving on the first elected panel after the city was incorporated in 1973.

Brian was instrumental in establishing the new RPV dog park and Anthony has also pledged his support for the dog park which my husband Bruce and I fought hard for its construction.
