“Cowboy Days” Celebration at RHE Empty Saddle Club This Weekend

This year marks the 20^th anniversary of Cowboy Days hosted by The Empty Saddle Club in Rolling Hills Estates. This year’s event will be held in conjunction with the Steve Harris Memorial Fund Raiser.

Activites start out on Friday night September 23^rd, with the €œWestern Hoedown Fiesta €, which will include a fabulous Mexican style meal, Margaritas, and a live band featuring the Catalina Kings. There will also be a live auction with several wonderful vacation packages, as well as a silent auction.

Saturday and Sunday will feature fun and exciting horseback events, Roping, Team Sorting, Trail, Cutting and Gymkhana €¦for the kids as well as the adults. Come on out and cheer on your favorite Cowboy or Cowgirl for the coveted €œAll Around Cowboy € award. This year a €œSADDLE € will be presented to the winner, donated by Gspur Equine Hydrotherapy Center.

Saturday afternoon and evening will be the annual Steve Harris Memorial Fund Raiser, benefiting Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Harbor UCLA Medical Center. €œWe do it for the kids €. The fun starts at 3:00 pm, with Happy Hour & silent auction; dinner to follow at 5:00 pm.
