An expansion of the existing Palos Verdes Arts Center at the corner of Crenshaw Blvd. and Crestridge Road in Rancho Palos Verdes has been announced. The expansion is estimated to cost approx. $2 million The plans include remodeling the existing patio area, the addition of a glass blowing studio, replacement of the existing carpet in the galleries with hardwood floors as well as the addition of approx. 1,700 sq. ft. of storage space.
The Arts Center had hoped to construct a new facility at the upper Point Vicente area where the current Rancho Palos Verdes City Hall is located, but cost estimates for a new facilty ranged up to $16 million
