Palos Verdes Estates Old Fashioned Fourth of July Celebration
The 49th annual Palos Verdes Estates old-fashioned Independence Day celebration returns this year to the grounds of Malaga Cove School, 300 Paseo del Mar, in Palos Verdes Estates. Festivities are set to begin at 10 a.m. Highlights include a decorated bicycle parade, an apple pie-baking contest, a puppet show and family games.
A formal program will kick off the day’s events with awards, speeches and recognition of the armed forces. Guest speaker will be Los Angeles Dodger legend Tommy Lasorda. Admission is free. Log on to www.pvjuly4.org for more details.
