With the recent closing of the Lunada Bay Market, it just underscores how important it is that we Lunada Bay residents support our local businesses. For me, I think it is particularly important for us to support Larry and the Lunada Bay Hardware store. Larry told me the other day that it has been very slow. I think it would be just a tragedy if the hardware store closed down. I know that I would dread having to drive down to Home Depot, Loews, etc. to fix a sprinkler or to get some plant food.

In addition, we are blessed to have some great restaurants here. I am a particular fan of the Lunada Bayhouse Restaurant. The food and service there is absolutely great !!! If you haven’t tried it yet, you are in for a pleasant surprise. They also give a 10% discount to Lunada Bay residents; just tell them when you come in to get the discount.. See their menu at their website at http://www.lunadabayhouserestaurant.com/our-menus.html . The Japanese and Mexican restaurants are also good, as are the St. Honore bakery ( try their breakfast and sandwiches and see my web blog entry Saint Honore Bistro Caffe in Lunada Bay Plaza .)

If you want all of these wonderful local businesses to stay in business, let’s all show our support by going there often !!!
