Mortgage Interest Rates decline slightly
Mortgage interest rates for buying a home on the Palos Verdes Peninsula decreased slightly this week. The following are excerpts from the newsletter on interest rates published by HSH Associates : "Financial markets and investors wholly expect at least a quarter-point cut in the federal funds rate next Wednesday, and the Fed has taken sufficient steps to manage that expectation. The single family home market in Rolling Hills Estates ( including the unincorporated area of Palos Verdes Peninsula ) was at a seasonable level during the 2nd quarter of 2019 with 37 homes on the market at the end of June, a large 68% increase from the prior year.
